There wasn't an info card, per say, but then again, it was one bag of coffee. There was however a thank you card with social media information. Good enough!

We received the Ethiopian blend.
They have several blends to choose from for their subscription:

- Birdseye Blend
- Old River Blend
- Ethiopia
- Rosena Blend
You can have 1 or 2 bags delivered every 2 weeks.I used both a french press, and my Keurig to make my coffee. Obviously the french press produced a supurb cup, but it was still very tasty from the automatic coffee maker.
It was a flavorful roast with a lot of body. I did not taste bitterness or acidity. I've never had an Ethiopian blend before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was very delighted with the flavor.
Now, these are whole beans, so you need a grinder. The finer you grind them up, the stronger your coffee. I'm a light to medium, so I didn't make them too fine.
They roast the beans to perfection, focusing on the specific characteristics that make each coffee unique.Heartwood Roastery also has an online shop where you can purchase coffee equipment & brewing goods.
In addition to their subscription service, they are working to get retailers across the country to sell their beans. I'd like that.
Starting in 2016 a portion of Heartwood's profits will be used to plant new trees around the world!
