We had the pleasure of reviewing a couple of Sunwarrior products.

I've tried many powders over the years. I liked Sunwarrior quite a lot.

The Classic Plus Organic mixed very cleanly in a simple shaker cup. There was no grit, and it was smooth in just water. There was actual chocolate flavor, and not just 'protein' taste. I have to admit, I tried it in my coffee, and although it gave it a mocha taste, I didn't like it.

Classic Plus relies on brown rice, pea, quinoa, chia, and amaranth for ancient grain goodness without the gluten or carbs. It has a similar amino acid profile to Warrior Blend, but a slightly different texture and flavor. All are highly effective sources of protein, so it really comes down to personal preferences. 

Warrior Bend mixed very well in my yogurt/milk-based smoothie. My smoothie kept a smooth texture, and again, didn't taste overly proteiny. (I know that's not a word, but I like the description).

Warrior Blend is a synergistic combination of pea, goji berry, and hemp proteins with the bonus of medium chain triglycerides from coconut. Warrior Blend has a slightly better amino acid profile and includes the anti-inflammatory power of coconut to speed recovery.

I think the Ormus Supergreens was my favorite. I mixed it with some ice & water in my shaker cup. It blended 100%, and was a bit frothy. Although the scent is very 'greens' smelling, the taste is a fresh peppermint. It was quite yummy. I could drink one of those every other day, no problem.

Ormus refers to special minerals found in minute amounts in certain soils around the world.

Warrior Blend, Classic Plus, Ormus Supergreens, and Activated Barley are all certified organic. Sunwarrior are in the process of certifying their products as Kosher.
