When to leave:This will depend on what type of wedding you have. If you’re hosting a local Wedding, take a few days to re-coop and enjoy the weekend with family. Try to instead fly out on a Monday or Tuesday for the honeymoon! If you’re holding a Destination Wedding, make sure to change hotels, or island hop, by the very next morning. Why wait to start relaxing?
What to plan for: Not sure what to do on a honeymoon? It’s your time to RELAX. As Susan says, it’s not the amazing race. You will want to plan for some time to sleep in, lounge around, swim, and eat delicious food. This is one trip where extensive hiking and biking will want to be put on hold. Let your body and mind rest after all that wedding planning.
Where to travel: This is a hard to answer as every couple is so different. However, the most popular honeymoon destinations for 2016 have been traveling to Bora Bora or Southeast Asia. What’s not to love about overwater bungalows or eating your way through Thailand and Cambodia?
