Pretty Good Bath & Body Review & Coupon

Pretty Good Bath and Body in an online shop.

They sell soaps and other bath items, along with gift baskets and a quarterly artisan box. They used to have a monthly box, but they recently went through a re-branding and revamp of their products and store. Everything they sell is hand made.

We had a chance to review two of their products:
  • Sparkling Pear Soap
  • Butter Milk Bath
Each of these products are available in the Artisan Soap Subscription Box and the Pretty Good Seasonal Box, along with being sold separately.

Sparkling Pear Soap

I am in LOVE with this soap. No, really. If all their soaps are like this, I'm gonna buy out their store. (If only I could)

Their signature formula that contains olive and coconut oils. The soap also contains cocoa butter and coffee butter.

The soap smells divine. I don't know what "fragrance" they used, but I love it.

The soap is cut to fit in your hand. It's not too fat, nor too wide. The soap bar itself has a nice consistency to it. It lathers well, but doesn't melt when wet. This is typical of soaps that have had a long curing time. Unfortunately, many soap makers are in a hurry to sell their product, and it gets into the customer's hands long before it should. When a soap doesn't cure longer than 4-6 weeks, it has a tendency to melt, and that's just wasteful.

The most impressive thing for me with this soap was, after rinsing, I could still smell the beautiful scent on my skin! I have 3 bars of different homemade soaps in my shower right now, and none of them keep the scent after rinsing. One even smells like oil. Yuk. But not Pretty Good's bar. My skin had the faint scent of the soap bar even after drying. Yay! Thank you. You can order it here.

Butter Milk Bath

Honestly, this one had me a bit confused with the name. With the name milk bath, I assumed it was a creamy dissolving bar. This is nothing of the sort. It's a mix between a bath bomb & a bath bead.

I threw it into the hot water and it fizzed & popped much to my cat's perplexity. It also released a very powerful, yet beautiful fragrance. My daughter says it smells like roses.

It moisturizes the skin, and leaves an oil-like coating on you such as bath beads would. You know, those clear, filled balls that dissolve under the hot water stream. My daughter says it left her skin soft & moisturized. And unlike a lotion, it didn't sting. You can order it here.

Overall, I was very pleased with Pretty Good Bath and Beauty products. I truly recommend them.

They are having a huge sale right now.
You can visit their Etsy shop right now, so I'd hurry and order. Or you can visit their Shopify site. Use coupon code: SPRINGSALE for 35% off!

They have a large schedule of new products that will be released through the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2016. I can't wait. I might order some.

For those who like subscription boxes (like me). They offer quarterly boxes with a wide variety of choices. These quarterly boxes include artisan soaps, wax tarts or a selection of their popular products. Each box is available as a stand alone purchase or as a subscription. The Spring Artisan Box is on sale right now for $9.22. I'm seriously contemplating it.

We have an exclusive coupon for our readers. 15% off any order, any time.
