Target Beauty Box March 2016 Review

I love Target Beauty Boxes. They send  lots of samples each time. The value of the box is well over the $5-$10 they charge. Some months they have one box, some they have 2. This month they had one box. It was $5.



February's box contained 8 items:

• Hair Food Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner
• Not Your Mother's Texturizing Sea Salt Spray
• SinfulColors Professional Nail Color
• Banana Boat Sun Comfort SPF 30 Lotion
• Nugg Deep Hydration Facial Mask Treatment
• You are Amazing Juicy Grapefruit Body Lotion
• Caress Adore Forever Body Wash

The information card included describes each item a little bit, and has a coupon for $3 off a $15 beauty purchase.

First items in the box are the body lotion & sunscreen.

You are Amazing Juicy Grapefruit Body lotion is a 1 fl oz tube. It's paraban free, phthalate free, made in the USA, and never tested on animals. Although I haven't tried it, I love the scent. I like anything citrusy, especially grapefruit. It's a very refreshing scent.

The Banana Boat Sun Comfort is SPF 30. A broad-spectrum UVA & UVB protection. It's lightweight, and says that sand easily brushes off. It's also a moisturizing lotion. The scent isn't like sunscreen, it's more like lotion.

Next comes the nail polish and face mask.

SinfulColors Professional Nail Color is made in the USA. It's long wear & chip resistant.  The color I received is Hush Money, which is a mauve shimmer.

Nugg is a anti-aging face mask. It has vitamin B3 & white tea extract. It's a 94% natural face mask that is non-drying & gentle. You leave this on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing.

The Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray has dead sea salt and kelp to give hair texture, hold & shine without frizz or flyaways. I haven't tried this, but it smells nice.

There is no set schedule for the release of the Tartget Beauty Boxes, but they are usually at the beginning of the month. They put up on their website spoilers for the contents a few days before release. These are only available online, and not in the store.

 Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is lightweight & for all skin types. It's an overnight gel mask infused with orange flower, rose, sandalwood, apricot, and chestnut extracts. It absorbs into the skin, and you rinse it off in the morning. This is a .6oz container. 

The Clairol Hair food is in foil packets. Unfortunately with my hair that reaches the small of my back, there just is never enough in these kind of samples to clean my hair, let alone see if I like it. Maybe my daughter will use them. Or, they'll go into my 'guest' bin. It's a shampoo, and a conditioner infused with honey & apricot fragrances. These are paraban free & mineral oil free.

Did we get the same Caress body wash in last month's box? If not, it was like it. This has a strong scent. It's got fragrance release pearls to give a burst of perfume everytime you touch your skin.

The first thing I noticed when  opened the box, was there wasn't any hair ties! There are always hair ties. I miss the hair ties.

Again, I really love Target Beauty Boxes. I've found a lot of products I like, that I would have never tried had it not been for this box. The value always exceeds the cost. Even if I don't like or use everything, I still get my money's worth.
